L’Autorité de Régulation du secteur de l’Electricité ARE en sigle, est un établissement public à caractère administratif doté d'une personnalité́ juridique et d'une autonomie administrative et financière. Elle organise et veille à la promotion de la compétitivité et de la participation du secteur privé dans toutes les activités de l’électricité. Elle veille également à l’équilibre économique et financier du secteur de l’électricité et à la préservation des conditions économiques nécessaires à sa viabilité.

Promotion et Developpement
Promouvoir la concurrence dans la production, le transport, la distribution et la commercialisation d’énergie électrique.
Politique Sectorielle
Promouvoir le développement efficace du secteur de l’électricité en veillant à l’équilibre économique et financier.
